Can we light campfires?
Yes. Each campsite has a firepit which you are welcome to use. Firewood is available at the office or you can collect your own. During Total Fire Ban, by law no fires can be lit. Cullendore High Country has a number of Designated Picnic Areas located around the campgrounds. Gas BBQs are provided in these Designated Picnic Areas, during Total Fire Bans, which allow campers to cook meals.
Can we bring pets?
No. Cullendore High Country is a pet free campground. There are a number of threatened and endangered native species in and around our campgrounds. To protect them we have made the decision to be a pet-free campground.
Are 2wd vehicles able to access the campgrounds?
Yes. 2wd vehicles are able to access our campgrounds with ease.
We do not permit 2wd vehicles on our driving trails as some of these trails are not suitable for 2wd vehicles.
Should we bring our own drinking water?
Yes. The water at the campgrounds comes from springfed dams. While this water is clear and clean it is not suitable for drinking.
We have water for sale at the office if you run short.
