Karen and I were after a few days away from modern life and were lucky enough to be able to stay at Stuarts and Wendy's
Cullendore High Country Camp. I guess we were guinea pigs in that the camp doesn't officially open until this weekend.
Its great! We had the pick of the more open Creek Camp or the more private Forest Camp. We chose the Creek Camp for no other reason than that's the first place we stopped. Level sites, flushing male and female toilets at both camps and hot showers at the Forest Camp. It was to be a relaxing few days and between exploring the many off road tracks (suitable for "soft-roaders)
and other available camps as well as proposed camps that's what we did... Fishing, hiking & photography
.......and relaxing....what more could you want.
We can highly recommend CHC.... although in its infancy, the vision of the owners cant
help but make you plan your next trip as soon as you get home...... We give it 5 out of 5 thumbs up..

A million stars on our evening at Cullendore High Country Camping a breathtaking sky with zero light pollution. Clean facilities and level campsites a friendly family greeting on arrival as well as checking to see if we needed anything once we set up camp. A great choice of level campsites, loads of birdlife and wildlife perfect for photographers. So looking forward to our next visit,so close and handy and easily accessible for our camper trailer. A very peaceful and relaxing location thank you Wendy, Stuart and family. We will be in contact soon to book our next visit and will be bringing friends.

We heard about Cullendore High Country from a couple who we were chatting with a few days ago and we decided to check this place out and boy are we glad we did. This was what we were looking for in the last two weeks we were camping. It was a perfect place with no one next to you for at least 50 to 100 metres and lovely views. A pleasant four wheel drive track with wildlife and lovely views. The owners were lovely, down to heart country people who seemed to know what people were wanting in camping out in the bush. I totally recommend this place to those who want to get away from the crowded campsites and to experience country camping.

We really enjoyed our stay at Cullendore High Country which started with the welcome we received from Stuart, Wendy and Matt. Their country friendliness and hospitality making sure we found our way around was truly excellent. This is not your average caravan or campground, it is a large rural property with plenty of room available for a secluded site if that's what you are after. The pristine condition of the property means that you will see plenty of of bird and wildlife. The majority of the property tracks are all fairly easy and make for interesting drives to investigate the property. We even spotted a QUOLL for a few minutes on the last night which was a first for us.This is the best place to spot red-belly black snakes although they are timid and scamper off quickly when disturbed. Thanks Stuart, Wendy and Matt for your hospitality and the beautiful country environment you have allowed us to share. Thanks, hope to see you again in the near future.

We are seasoned campers and it was wonderful to find somewhere so close to home for a much needed break. Cullendore High Country had so much to offer for a family with three boys. Fishing, swimming, exploring, they did it all! Wonderful, spacious campsites and clean, equipped facilities topped it off! Cullendore High Country is now on our list of "go to" time out spaces. Wonderful country, beautiful views and great hosts! We will be back!

Cullendore was a great place to spend a couple of nights away from everything. We stayed at the group site in Creek Camp and the location was great. The facilities were excellent and the service was amazing. Stuart even took the time to show us down the trail to the river.
