Retreats

A private high country property for retreats and offsites.

Cullendore is a family-owned, 4,000-acre working cattle property near Stanthorpe, on the Queensland–NSW border. It's a retreat setting for businesses, teams and groups who want space to think, plan, connect or simply slow down together, whether that's a strategic planning retreat, a leadership offsite, a wellbeing retreat, or time away for a group that wants room to breathe.

A Cullendore retreat gives your group exclusive use of the Pavilion precinct, private walking and cycling trails, and exclusive guest amenities, set across open country, forest and mountain views.

The Pavilion Precinct

Your group has exclusive access to the Pavilion precinct for the length of your stay. The Pavilion itself is a powered, open space with wifi, seating up to 100 for a conference session by day and a relaxed dinner by night, with its own dance floor and bar. Exclusive showers and toilets sit within the same precinct, along with the glamping grounds, so everything your group needs is close together and set apart from the rest of the property.

The Chapel

For a different kind of space, the Chapel can be added to your booking, subject to availability. Set on an elevated position with panoramic mountain views over the Darling Downs and open to the landscape on its sides. It seats up to 100, offering the perfect change of scenery partway through your stay.

Accommodation

Our glamping precinct, a flat, open space sits within the Pavilion grounds where our preferred suppliers can set up and style bell tents ahead of your arrival. The Cabin, set in the forest a short walk from the Pavilion, sleeps two and is available as an optional add-on to your booking, subject to availability.

Shape Your Event

Some groups arrive with their own agenda and facilitators. Others prefer support to design and run the day, which is where our exclusive partnership with Grey Matta Solutions comes in, a leadership development consultancy with over ten years' experience designing and delivering corporate retreats.

Beyond that, we can refer you to a list of preferred suppliers, from catering and styling through to guided walks and movement sessions, who can help shape your time at Cullendore. You're also free to bring in anyone else who'll help shape your retreat.

The Land

Cullendore is a working Angus cattle property with over 700ha of forests protected as part of an ongoing wilding project. Private walking and cycling trails cross open country, forest and creek lines, giving your group room to move, think and switch off between sessions.

Stanthorpe & The Granite Belt

Cullendore sits a 35 minute drive from Stanthorpe, in the heart of the Granite Belt, Queensland's cool climate wine region. Your group can charter a bus for easy access to the region's cellar doors, local produce and walking trails through Girraween National Park, giving you everything you need to build a full multi-day itinerary around your time at Cullendore.

Our Location

Cullendore is located around 2.5 hours from Brisbane, set high in the mountains of the Great Dividing Range on the Queensland–NSW border.
