A Wedding at Cullendore

A weekend in the high country, from the first guests arriving on Friday to a slow Sunday morning.

This is an example of how a wedding weekend can unfold at Cullendore. It's based on a Saturday afternoon ceremony.

Wedding Timeline

  • From 2:00pm.

    Guests begin to arrive. Those glamping settle into their tents, a short walk from the Pavilion and the exclusive guest bathrooms and showers.

    The Cabin is yours the night before, so you can take your time settling in.

    Evening.

    Gather your nearest and dearest for dinner in Stanthorpe or Warwick. We can point you to our favourites across the Granite Belt.

    Your bridal party and groomsmen can stay in our handpicked nearby accommodation, or glamp onsite. They're also welcome to use the Cabin for getting ready the next day.

    From 2028, the Farmhouse gives your bridal party or close family a home base on the property, with a kitchen and undercover deck for a relaxed Friday night together.

  • Morning.

    Hair and makeup begins at your chosen accommodation, with photographs of the bridal party as they get ready.

    From 2028, hair and makeup can begin at the Farmhouse, with your bridal party already on the property.

  • Afternoon.

    Guests staying off the property make their way to Cullendore. They're welcome to drive and park onsite, or our recommended charter company can transfer guests from nearby towns to the ceremony, and on to the reception.

    Everyone gathers at the Chapel, and the ceremony begins with panoramic mountain views around you.

    Family portraits follow in the Chapel grounds, or in another location on the private property that you choose. Cocktail hour begins for your guests on the Pavilion lawn, and bridal party portraits are taken at golden hour.

  • Evening.

    Dinner is served in the Pavilion, with speeches and cake cutting.

    The first dance takes place on the adjoining covered dance floor, then the dance floor opens for all your guests.

    11:00pm.

    Amplified music finishes.

    Glamping and camping guests are a short walk from the Pavilion, and guests staying off site can head home by charter transfer.

    The Cabin is the perfect space for the couple on their wedding night.

  • Morning.

    Breakfast, arranged by you. If you'd like to stay onsite until checkout, we can provide BBQs.

    11:00am.

    Final checkout.

Where You Can Stay

The Cabin

Included in your wedding package. It sleeps two and sits in the forest with an ensuite and double shower. It's yours for your wedding night and the night before.

The Farmhouse (from 2028)

Sleeping up to eight across three bedrooms, the Farmhouse becomes part of our wedding packages from 2028. With a full kitchen, two bathrooms and an undercover deck, it gives your bridal party or close family a place to stay together on the property. It won't be available for 2027 dates, so if 2028 is an option for you, let us know when you enquire.

Glamping and Camping

For guests who'd like to stay on the property, glamping and camping can be added to your package based on how many people want to stay. We work closely with our preferred suppliers, Bell Tent Hire Co. and Maka Tipi, to give your guests a comfortable and unique stay onsite. Each guest books ahead and chooses the level of stay they'd like, with linens and other inclusions depending on the option they select. Everyone books and pays at the level that suits them, so you aren't left coordinating it all. The glamping precinct sits within the wedding grounds, a short walk from the Pavilion and the exclusive guest bathrooms and showers.
